Who this policy covers
This policy describes the Digito Spaces website and mobile app used to find properties, arrange tours, contact property managers and brokers, and manage rentals. For privacy questions, access or corrections, contact digitospaces@gmail.com. You may also submit a privacy or deletion request online.
Information we process
- Account details: your name, email and/or phone number, password hash, account role and status. Google sign-in provides a Google account identifier and verified email/profile information. We do not receive your Google password.
- Identity verification: the National ID number and document you choose to submit, verification status and review records. These are used to review eligibility for tours and protect people using the service.
- Location and searches: places and filters you enter, property coordinates, and your device location when you grant permission and use nearby search. You can decline location permission and search by place instead.
- Rental activity: enquiries, conversations, housing requests, broker applications, tour requests, leases, invoices, payment references, amounts, status and uploaded receipts.
- Technical information: session cookies, authentication tokens, IP addresses and request/error logs used to operate the service, troubleshoot problems and protect accounts. Your device stores an authentication token securely to keep you signed in.
How information is used and shared
We use information to provide sign-in, search, property enquiries, identity review, tours, rental administration, billing, support and security.
The organization managing a listing receives relevant enquiries, tours and tenancy/payment details. Your housing-need posts are visible to you, active company staff, platform administrators, and approved brokers with current access. Individual reply threads are restricted to the client and that responder. Do not put ID numbers or other sensitive information into public-facing property descriptions or housing requests.
Google processes sign-in and map-related requests when those services are used. Nylon Pay and mobile-money providers process collection requests, including the phone number, amount, currency, reference and customer details sent for payment. We do not ask for or store your mobile-money PIN. Hosting and communications providers process information needed to run the service. External image/map resources may receive connection information when loaded.
Property organizations, brokers and payment providers may also hold records under their own responsibilities and policies. Deleting your Digito Spaces account does not automatically delete records already lawfully held by those parties. Contact us if you need help identifying the organization involved.
Permissions and security
Location permission supports nearby searches. Document selection lets you choose a file to upload; it does not grant access to every file on your device. You can change permissions in device settings. We use access controls, password hashing, private storage for submitted IDs and authentication tokens. Public listing photos are intended to be shared; identity documents are not. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
Account and associated service data are kept while needed to provide the account and requested rental services. To request removal, visit Delete your Digito Spaces account or email digitospaces@gmail.com. The web request form is available without reinstalling the app or signing in.
We verify account ownership before deleting data. Once processed, account access is revoked and profile contact details, the Google sign-in association, stored identity documents, account notifications, tours, broker application details, housing needs and associated conversation content are removed from the live application.
Financial records, invoices, receipts, lease records and relevant security audit references may need to remain for accounting, contract, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes. Where financial records are retained, the administrator must record a specific reason and retention expiry and communicate these to you before completing the request. We have not specified a universal legal retention period for every organization or jurisdiction. Expired financial retention records are eligible for the scheduled purge process. A non-login “Deleted account” record can remain to preserve necessary audit references.
Active leases, pending payments and staff responsibilities may require coordination before completion; submitting a request does not cancel a lease, settle a balance, or issue a refund. We will explain the outstanding step using your chosen contact method. Copies in operational backups may remain until those backups expire; the hosting backup schedule determines that period. Contact us for the period applying to your request. If backups are restored, completed deletion requests must be reapplied before normal access resumes.
Your choices and contact
You can edit supported account fields from the mobile profile, decline optional permissions, ask us to correct or provide information, close a housing request, or request account and data deletion. For privacy complaints or questions, email digitospaces@gmail.com. We may update this page when the service or its data practices change; the date above identifies the current notice.
